Abstract
What would it mean to structure epistemic relationships based on mutual respect and participation? What would it mean to create knowledge counter-hegemonically? And, what are the epistemic reasons that motivate us in this endeavor? These are the questions I seek to answer in this talk. I seek to develop a form of dialogic epistemology in this talk and will starting with a contrasting example: extractivist epistemologies.
